Dancing In the Street! Music of the 1960’s

Featuring Gary Vidito and your favorite Mid Kentucky Chorus singers

60 years ago the Beatles started the “British Invasion!” But in the 1960’s in America, we were already
involved in a “music revolution” of our own. The Beach Boys, The Mamas and the Papas, Sonny and Cher, Diana Ross and the Supremes, the 5th Dimension, Martha and the Vandellas and even those crazy Monkees were giving baby-boomers their identity and creating a style that endures even among today’s generation.

This show, Dancing In the Street created by Gary Vidito, will highlight the hits of many musicians and  even those “Lads from Liverpool,” featuring your favorite singers from Mid Kentucky Chorus and a live  band. Springfield will be a “happenin’ ” place. So put on your hip-huggers, Go-Go boots and tie-dyed shirts and join us. It’ll be “up tight and outta sight, baby!” What a fun night it will be!
